Josue Pereda – Practice Manager

Biography: 

Josue has been dedicated to the veterinary industry since 2002. He began his career working in the kennel, where he quickly discovered a passion for animal care. Within a few months, he started training as a Veterinary Assistant and steadily advanced through the profession. His commitment and drive eventually led him to a specialty emergency hospital, where he rotated through multiple departments and gained extensive hands-on experience in a wide range of veterinary specialties. Motivated by a desire to grow as a leader, Josue pursued management opportunities, serving as a department lead before advancing to roles as a Technical Manager and Project Manager. After spending a decade in specialty and emergency medicine, in 2015 he took on the challenge of managing his first hospital—an emergency and specialty startup facility. In 2017, he transitioned into general practice management, where he continues to excel and make a positive impact today.

Throughout his leadership career, Josue has played an integral role in hospital mergers, facility renovations, and operational improvements. His experience in both clinical and administrative settings has given him a well-rounded perspective, allowing him to effectively support teams, enhance patient care, and improve hospital efficiency. He is passionate about every aspect of the veterinary profession and enjoys helping practices grow while fostering strong, collaborative workplace cultures.

Outside of work, Josue enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, as well as with his two pit bulls and corn snake. He is an avid motorcycle enthusiast who enjoys exploring the open road, and staying active outdoors.
